Yes! I have Dog Soldiers on DVD and it's definitely top notch for sure. The werewolves actually look very menacing which is indeed rare to find in a werewolf flick. The subtle touches of humor in this movie are also a nice added bonus!

I haven't met a movie yet that actually scared me since being a teen. I love all horror films. They are all hilarious to me.
Werewolf, Vampires, and Zombies being my favorite flavors.

Same here Dustin, except I was a pre-teen. I just love the darker story over a sappy drama or even a regular non-supernatural action flick. They aren't all hilarious (just the awesomely cheesy bad ones or the ones who meant to add humor into the mix) iif I'm buying into a piece of fiction for an hour or two, I want it to be full out horror. Not a schlockey tear jerker.

Rory, I've seen that at the video store, but wasn't sure if I wanted to rent it. Is it better than the box made it sound?

Rob, those are some of my favorite movie werewolves. I loved the "my guts look like bloody sausages" bit the best ;-p I finally got to watch the last Dead Set, I was impressed, especially for a mini-series. But there's something to be said about UK horror I guess, maybe Hollywood should pay attention.

I just found out that they are remaking The Thing...

That one messed me up when I was a little kid. Now it's awesome haha

They are also remaking Fright Night

Wonder how they will turn out.

Well, it takes a really original approach to the zombie sub-genre. I think it's brilliant, the creators really had some good concepts, and orchestrated their ideas superbly. You should watch it sometime.

Yeah Dog Soldiers is a good flick. It's too bad they canned the sequel.

I love the original Fright Night and I am so pissed about the remake. Colin Farrel is casted to play Jerry Dandridge, and I'm pretty sure that's not even the worst part.

No Laura, no it isn't.  As soon as Dustin posted it I was looking. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1438176/  The evil kid from Kick Ass plays Evil Eddie...and look at Charlie   Although I love their pick for Peter Vincent.

I think I will then. It's one I keep picking up and changing my mind before getting to the counter. I'm glad to have a reason to get it all the way to the counter next time

This pisses me off to no end, I wanted this sequel more than any other! I don't get it either, practically everyone who has seen it genuinely enjoyed it.

As long as the remake doesn't **** the version that I like.. I don't mind..

The remakes of Halloween and Friday the 13th weren't too bad..

I tried to think of them just as something diff.

Those were entertaining.. or at the very least pretty funny...

(Though the Halloween 2 remake ended pretty shitty)

I can't believe that Hollywood has run out of ideas this badly to where they are remaking practically every **** classic movie. And for the love of god, stop making movies based off of video games!! You just ruin them you bastards!!!
