OFFLINE | The seasonal world in which I work is sometimes a small one. For example, this season I'm working with a person I worked and roomed with at a resort in Idaho in 2007, and another person I worked with in the Tetons in 2006.
Today makes the third time where a company has heard of me and has started to recruit me, without me making the first move. That feels nice. But like the last two, I probably will not go there. It's a nice place, but they would want me there a couple of weeks before I'd be comfortably able. And I like to look for all 3 of new people, new experiences and new places...they don't really have the new experience part.
So I'll probably still be looking for my winter gig, maybe one place early next month, but main push in mid-August. |
