OFFLINE | What made my day today? well its new years eve.. and spending the evening with some good friends.. and the ones that were somewhere else.. called to wish us a Happy New Year..!! that was cool!! and then coming home..and finding an email from a very good friend i havent been able to talk to much...was awesome!! it truely warmed my heart. |

OFFLINE | Nowhere near as inspiring as some of the above but it made my day!
So my son wasn't feeling good last night and we cancelled our grand plans for New Years. We stayed home.
And about 12:10, there was a knock on the door. I went to it and there were three people standing outside, one with a flashlight. I thought, "Oh crap! It's the cops!" So I opened the door.
But it actually was some neighbors ... a guy and two girls ... who were dressed up in toga's. They were having a NY's party and they said they were on a scavenger hunt.
One of the girls said, "I need to get my picture taken, loving on a stranger." And of course, because I always support women's causes, I told her I definitely qualified in the strange department and would be happy to help her out.
But the surprise was on me. She helped me out :-)
And I'm waiting for them to email the pic.
