Tr00th. In all honesty I feel equally redundant about posting anything related to Metal on any social networking or forum these days. I mean, how many times does one have to spew their proverbial wad over their favorite albums and talk about it even more? Sure, it's fun, but to me....and now that I am hurtling towards 30, it just seems redundant. Excellent example: I posted about an Ipod playlist I just recently made titled "Swedish metal" and asking what else I should add to it....I already know the bands, hell it's got everything from Bathory, Candlemass, Katatonia, At The Gates, Entombed, etc....it's not like I don't know when it comes to the numerous, various genres of Metal....but at 28 I just don't get that same feeling as I did whenever I was 18 and everything seem brand new and that there was a journey to partake in as far as discovering new music.And I am equally guilty of being apathetic to not contributing that much to this forum, even though I know a lot of members here from the Myspace....hell even back to the old-school AOL Metal chat. |
