If alcohol and tobacco are legal, there is no reason why Marijuana should be legal.

If weed was legal the overcrowded jails and prisons would no longer receive money from the states for keeping people locked up. The cops wouldn't make as many arrests, so there would probably be less need for them. There is a lot of money involved either way.

well maybe I agree.. only because if it were legal in the first place, it would be like smoking 'cigs'.. effects aren't as 'crispy' if you don't mind my sayin' so, that's all.. lol.. in other words they would just cheapen the 'high' while not only taxing it but taxing it considerably heavy to boot...

Btw, I tried JUST sticking with cigs at one point, speaking for  myself that is.. until I developed really bad acid reflux.. in case anyone already knows what's like, then they're imagining barbed wire coiling around inside their esophagus'... that is all.. lol..

Tax revenues is great **** for politicians and TV's talking heads to debate over. Personally, I don't give a ****. how do you tax it? i would just grow it, why you think they call it weed, it just grows with no effort, as for the economy, lets be real, thats not going to fix it, it wont create jobs, our only savior is to build here not china, allow no illegal or migrant workers with stiff penalties for employers who hire them, and of course none of the 2 is going to happen, and the math is elementary, we are doomed......

as for housing, lol like that blaack dude says, the rent is too dam high, lol @ that dude but he is dam right, its no wonder the housing bubble burst, we are just being exploited in every which way folks, America has been sold out, we really are if not already becoming a third world whether you see it or not, none of you will ever see social security either, and your savings will vanish with hyper inflation, hate to tell you but i haz too, simply do the math.

I never said it would solve all our problems, it would just help build revenue (especially for funding building projects) since it's the number one cash crop in the country.

As for people growing it themselves, why bother when you can buy some awesome bud right down the street at a coffee shop?

If it were legal, I think the seed market would be bigger than the bud market, with dealers starting their own grows and offering better prices than fixed establishments. So the coffee shops would be a bit more analogous to a fine dining experience, while you'd get your daily bud from some dude who doesn't make much in wages but has like, 30 plants in his house.
