I regularly watch Disney and Nick with my kids and alot of he jokes are referenced to viewers whod be more aware than kids could be and I wonder who theyr writing those jokes for but those are writers and thats what they came up with the trouble  with their being so out of touch with their audience is that they put the young charachters in sometimes in a " too adult " light.


I also notice subtle sexual conotations in their presentations as well (dont let me get started on SpongeBob), but I think Im the only one of us that notices and imagine the kids are oblivious and entertained by other aspects and the general zaniness.

I dont dwell on it and let it exist in the periphery as it is only mindless diversion, so what if Daisy Duck looks like one world-class ****, its just a dumb cartoon, the real values and awareness are left all tome to instill.

I just think the writers throw that **** in cuz they get a kick out of it.

It's always been that way, there is tongue in cheek context that is only meant to get a snigger from adults, and it does blow right over your kids heads. Unless you are a **** of a parent that sexualizes your young kids, tells your kids dirty jokes, graphically explains sex and sexual content long before your child's time, then they might get it.

During Mulan I just remember I kept thinking "please don't let him ask me about that" because that was peppered with the more blatant, tongue in cheek adult humor.
