OK Teri, I'm watching the Idol tonight... Only 6 left.... I think Jacob Lusk is on his way out... and Scotty might take the whole thing, if he starts mixing it up... I saw Pia on Dancing with the Stars last night... What a voice...

Ok ... here's my take n last night:

Jacob singing Oh No, Not My Baby ... I'm over him and whomever styled him should re-think their career decision ... that bold outfit would not even work on Steven Tyler and ANYTHING works on ST ... great voice, not better than Pia and not better than Stephano ... I think Jacob is surviving on the Naima / Thia / Pia voters ... hopefully he's the one to go tonight.

Lauren sang "Where You lead" like a pro ... she's really growing on me and could give the top guys a run for their money  ... cute as a button, lacks maturity but she's VERY marketable ... and should be safe.

Scotty nailed the vocal on "You've Got A Friend" ... if I closed my eyes and listened, I could barely tell it was Scotty ... not necessarily the best thing when trying to become unforgettable BUT he listened to the judges and tried something different ... flexibility can never be bad (can it ?) ... He's so safe, he's almost already won it all.  (BTW = consistenly top vote getter)

James sang "Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" and gave an amazing performance ... controlled vocals were surprising ... he's very safe and #2 vote getter to Scotty.

Casey performed "Hi-De-Ho" ... and this one might have hurt him ... he talked through a lot of it so it's hard to grade him on vocals ... he's still so darned loveable and talented and the one the judges saved so it gives him an edge ... I think he lands in bottom three but should be safe over Jacob.  I could be wrong here because I've got a soft spot for Casey's raw talent.

Haley sang "Beautiful" beautifully ... I really like her but she'll be in the bottom three and could be in danger.

Bottom three:  Haley, Casey and Jacob ... JACOB SHOULD GO ... he's long overstayed his talent level ...

Oh yeah, the duets ... Casey and Haley showed a lot of chemistry with "I Feel The Earth Move" (it's rumored they are a couple and it showed), Scotty and Lauren sang an okay "Up On The Roof" but no chemistry ... and if the duets counted for votes Jacob would surely be done with his uncomfortable duet of "I'm Into Something Good" with James ... even Steven Tyler bashed them and he's been overly complimentary to ALL the contestants.

I agree that Casey's proformance hurt him... it was the song choice... Haley start up to her song wasn't good at all, and Jacob although his proformance was a improvment from last week... I think the votes are going to hurt him... I agree with the others, and voted for Stephano last week and felt Jacob should of left.... Can we say a A-MEN ... I liked when James was Clowning him in the interveiw... Jocob Should Go!

Casey was one of my favorites from the auditions ... I'll miss what he adds to the show as a musician and artist and jazz enthusiast.  

I still firmly believe Jacob should have gone home but feel he's picked up the Naima/Thia/Pia votes and might be a contender because of that.

I think a lot of Casey's votes will go to Haley ... so watch out !

Here's my opinion based on tonight's performances:

Well, Well, Well ... the night belongs to Haley ... consistently loved her throughout and I think she'll gain the Casey votes.  She has so much soul and passion, something I really love.

Scotty is ALWAYS consistent ... really enjoy him ... so mature beyond his years and no different tonight.

Lauren sang beautifully ... perfection ... and has really grown.

I think the competition and being away from his family is getting to James because he sucked big time tonight ... I think he also misses his fellow contestants who were his buds and gave him support too.

Jacob just needs to go ... he literally makes me uncomfortable when he is on stage singing ... dude can sing but when he tries to do something out of his genre, it's just embarrassing to me.

At this point though, it's whomever gens enough votes ... so even though I hope Jacob goes, it's anyone's to take.
