But it took a fairly embarrassing moment to figure that out, lol. Many years ago, I was at a picnic with my ex's family and they had Brockworst (sp) hots with natural casings on them. They didn't burn them though. Anywho, when I took the first bite, my dull teeth didn't cut through the casing and the whole thing, condiments and all, flopped up right in my face. Not a happy moment, lol. But it was someone after that who suggested burning them so that wouldn't happen and I've been burning them ever since.
