I have seen DSE Gen Index curve. MACD cross over will take place tomorrow.It seems that tomorrow market will give a big positive jump and accordingly price and volume.

When x-factor is active..there is no reasonal behaviour. maybe something wrong will happend next 2 or 3 days.

আজকের (৩০-০১-২০১১) বাজার পূর্বাভাসে বলেছিলাম বাজার কিছুটা নিম্নমুখী হবে। কিন্তু উল্টো ব্যাপার ঘটেছে। দিনশেষে সূচক ১৮৬ পয়েন্ট বেড়ে দাঁড়িয়েছে ৭৫৭২। তবে টার্ণওভার মাত্র ১০০২ কোটি টাকা। বেশ কয়েকটি কোম্পানী তাদের অক্টোবর-ডিসেম্বর ২০১০ কোয়ার্টারের আর্থিক হিসাব প্রকাশ করেছে। এর ফলে বাজারে এর ইতিবাচক প্রভাব পড়েছে। তবে এখনো কম টার্ণওভার প্রমান দিচ্ছে বেশীরভাগ বিনিয়োগকারী তাদের ক্ষতি এখনো পুষিয়ে নিতে পারেননি। বাজার একটি ভালো সময়ে ঘুরে দাঁড়িয়েছে। এই সপ্তাহের বাকি ৪ দিনে অধিকাংশ কোম্পানী তাদের অক্টোবর-ডিসেম্বর ২০১০ কোয়ার্টারের আর্থিক হিসাব প্রকাশ করবে, যা বাজারে ইতিবাচক প্রভাব ফেলবে বলে আশা করা যায়। প্রাতিষ্ঠানিক বিনিয়োগের এখনো তেমন প্রভাব নেই। অর্থাৎ তারা এই দামে বাজারে প্রবেশ করতে চাচ্ছেন বলে মনে হচ্ছে না। গত ১৯ ও ২০ ডিসেম্বর কয়েকটি প্রতিষ্ঠানের আক্রমনাত্বক বিক্রয়ের (Aggressive sell) কারনে বাজার তার স্বাভাবিক ধারা বজায় রাখতে পারেনি। ৬ টি প্রতিষ্ঠানের বিরুদ্ধে ব্যবস্থা নেওয়ায় আপাততঃ এ ধরনের ঘটনা ঘটার সম্ভাবনা নেই। তাই আগামীকালও বাজার ভালো যাবে আশা করি।

BB Governor said, "A sharp price correction came about in the beginning of January 2011 in the country’s capital markets seen by analysts as overvalued from quite some months ago....... few banks with capital market asset holdings beyond permissible limits were allowed extended periods to scale down to permitted levels gradually, and had no reason to cause abrupt selling pressure."
does it have any adverse affect on our Stock Market ? Ref Page 7 (last para) for the policy pl see

They are not willing to invest at this stage, waiting for another correction.

Banks have more than 10% exposure, but they are asked several times to limit it with in 10%. BB has no other way but to do it, because there are inflation in economy. So BB has to wipe out the extra liquidity from market. Otherwise the whole economy will be affected. It will create a havoc if banks invest more money than their limit. NYSE was crashed  in 1929 for the same reason. This is a big question whether market will fall further if banks do not invest more. I do not think so. The main activity of bank is to take deposit and lend money. If they have no chance to invest more money in the capital market than their limit, they will be  bound to lend money to MBs, Gen investors etc. Ultimately money will come in the market in different way.

Banks were  permitted to adjust their over exposure within 15 Feb. But at this stage Govt and BB is liberal enough to give extra time to the banks. So, I think the speech of Governor will not affect at this time.

Still, I am not very much optimistic about the market. Growing more than 45 degree is a red signal, though market is growing almost 75% more than it should be. The question may be raised here- Will it sustain?

An inordinate delay in taking timely and effective proactive measures may be counterproductive.
