OFFLINE | So im guessing all of platoon 2125 got their phone calls... my husband is in 2127, theres just so much communication on this forum that i have to get in on it! I find it somewhat comforting to talk to families who are going through the same thing! I am so excited for the videos also! Did you happen to watch Charlie Company videos? Some of them included PT exercises! |

OFFLINE | My phone call came yesterday around 7:00. He was also kind of quiet he said the recruits were able to call there parents regarding travel arrangements for graduation,. He also sounded kind of quiet there def was some one standing there because when I starting to ask him questions he answered them whispering he said the DI's were all there! The phone call was only to ask about travel arrangements but I could not resist asking him questions he said he is doing really good. The funny part was when he called I never looked at my phone and when I answered it he said mom and I thought it was my other son and I said what, and said again MOM and he chuckled and said it was him! I started screaming the poor kid, I was so taken back it was him and I have not heard his voice in such a long time I just figured it was my other son who calls me 20 times a day!! Keep your phones handy because you will be receiving that call!!!!!!! Good luck everybody! |

OFFLINE | Sharon I sreamed too,My call came in at about 4:30pm I felt like such the dork after I got off, My son called and I was cutting the lamb for Easter Dinner and asked my older sister to pick up the phone and she's like is this Forrest I dropped what I was doing and grab the phone knowing that they don't have alot of time. It was for travel arrangements he sounded like he was whispering and reserved somebody there watching. I calmed down it was loud at our place. It was great even if it was only for travel arrangements got some other quick stuff in too at a whisper.
Danielle it'll come this week. Crucible next week my prayers are with all our recruits. |

OFFLINE | Thats great!!! I love hearing that although they are quite reserved in what they are saying, its not a paragraphed speech like our first call The crucible is coming up fast! I know they will all do great! |
