OFFLINE | TIMING !!! Actually having the time to get things wiped off my "To Do" list ... things that have been hanging around forever. Being able to take time, and not be rushed or worried about deadlines. This not working stuff is pretty awesome !!! I'm enjoying it while I can, I'm sure it'll not last long. |

OFFLINE | Finished making my plans for my spring between jobs 'vacation.' All transportation tickets bought and hotels booked. I haven't taken a long bus trip in a few years, so i thought I'd go that way.
May 3rd--Bus from Phoenix to Chicago. Probably a food tour, maybe a Cubs game. It's near Chinatown and I haven't explored that area yet. Staying at the South Loop Hotel for a couple of days. Bus up to Oshkosh, Wisconsin...visit a sister for a couple of days, maybe meet up with a couple ol' friends at O'Marro's. Bus to Green Bay...visit a sister and my mother...it's been a few years. My mother will be 85 this year! I'll be doing the Cellcom Half Marathon, it runs through Lambeau Field near the end. Then catching a flight to Vegas...but grabbing a bus right away to St. George, Utah...where I catch a ride to the Grand Canyon's North Rim where I'll be until mid-October. |

Karen (k from OF&F) told me she will be in Tahoe in June and wants to get together! Haven't seen her since the Laughlin trip, so I'm hoping it'll work out!!!
And an old friend from high school commented on another's friend status about something that happened a long, long time ago....
I can't believe he remembered me! I knew he would remember the incident... but he remembered that it was I who was involved....
anyhow, we're not FB friends and I can't stop laughing! |
