Todays Zumba class was canceled 'cause the instructor's road was flooded.

My ex husband who lives with my son and I...(long story...lol), made us a fabulous meal this evening. Only thing I hate is when he cooks, he never shuts the oven..or stove off. Good thing I got up to set up my coffee for the morning, and noticed it was still on! I think I just saved the day!!!

I was lazy at work today...I kinda feel guilty about it.:/

I really like TIm Minchen's songs. He is an Aussie dude. He often wears a three piece suit on stage..but he NEVER wears shoes, and occasionally he will slam his bare toes on the keyboard. He is a comedian, AND a musician, AND a song writer. He writes all his own songs. He does have a bit of twisted humor...and you usually have to listen well in to the song to get it. He is a thinker...he is brilliant. He married his high school sweet heart, and is still with her. Go to youtube, and type in Tim Minchin.
Some of my favorites are; Dark Side, Not Perfect,  and Tony the Fish(in that one, he just talks...but it is great!) If I didn't Have You, is a good one when you are breaking up...hehhee

Lol, this kinda reminds me of a guy I asked to get up from my desk so I could use it, and he called me a "Lazy fu**er" for doing it. The dopy part was,,, he was half asleep at my desk before I asked him to move


Random Fact: I hate being bored at work. I prefer to be very busy, but not necessarily because it's good for business, but because it makes the time go by much faster.

I prefer to be busy at work too. I wouldn't survive a desk job! I work as a nursing assistant, and I am very busy all day, it is the perfect job for hyperactive people.

Thankfully my desk is a very small part of my job and I'm able be up and moving around both inside and out a lot. I've had a full-time desk job before and I really hated it, especially in the summer time when they kicked the AC on which made me so miserably drowsy that the day just dragged horribly. Now, the worst part of my job is rainy days or weather so cold that your fingers go numb. But most of the time the weather is either great or good enough.

A friend from long ago came to town and took me out for Mexican food last night.  Yum.  


I was gonna say 'old friend' but at this age, that's not so funny anymore. LOL
