Oh, I love men too! I'm not really anti-men...I'm just against the "need" for a man in order to be happy. I would rather be alone/single than settle for someone less than wonderful, or someone that doesn't make me feel special, just to have a man (serious relationship) in my life. (Been there, done that) I'm perfectly capable of taking care of myself and loving life with my friends an family. (Cue the music "I am Woman, hear me roar" LOL)
I'm not perfect, and neither is my guy...but he IS mighty fine, and we respect the hell out of each other... |

| 1) I think my graying hair and beard bothers certain others a whole heck of a lot more than it bothers me.
2) Turning gray has never bothered me.
3) People (both men and women) get on my nerves when they suggest I use hair coloring while ignoring my disinterest in it.
4) It's always humored me when a guy who normally shaves his head gets all bent after realizing that his hair has turned gray on him. |

It takes a mighty good man to be better than no man at all"

There was a point in time right after my divorce when I thought I missed something as I never became misogynistic (or alcoholic come to think of it), well, not by definition anyways. I became anti-certain personality types, and caught all kinds of hell blogging about it :/
The lesson I learned? Don't ever,,,, EVER tell a woman you don't like her, and even more demanding, never tell her why. It seems that expression "Hell hath no fury" has some truth to it.
And where you say "It takes a mighty good man to be better than no man at all," I think this concept is one of the more valuable lessons I've learned since my divorce. It's often dismissed as cliche though, but then that relates to another form of lesson I've learned...
Anywho, I've written a song, and I'm looking for a singer if I can come up with an acoustic guitar riff for it. Anyone interested? |

| I'm going to my nephew's graduation tonight. Missing my parents because he was a favorite of theirs. I'm sure they will be watching. |

| Geesh. I've resorted to just pulling my jeans up over my swimming suit when I head in to physical therapy. I just pack my clothes in my bag so I can be dressed to run an errand or two in town when I'm done. I USUALLY remember to pack my bra. Until today. Thank God for good genes.

| It doesn't bother me at all to wear glasses, and I've never had a single contact touch my eyes. |
