 OFFLINE | Good morning everyone....welcome to another week...last day of January -- yee haw!! They're calling for A LOT of snow here... Tuesday night into Wednesday morning...I'm starting now...to pray...hoping that we have a snow day on Wednesday!!!
Sylvia...you be careful heading into work and back home....I know how difficult it can be down there! Sorry to hear that you had to run so many times out....sure wish I lived closer to you!!
Jann...sorry to hear about all the expenses that you've incurred....but certainly GLAD to hear that Sam is doing much better!
Tonya....hopefully you're not gonna get hit with all this snow they're forecasting for us (yeah RIGHT!)....stay safe..and be careful!
Barbara...I'm keeping you in my thoughts..and hoping that your mom has a change of heart...I know how difficult things have been for you with your uncle. Glad that you got to see your grandson over the weekend....sure that made you smile!

Check up with the doc today, everything is good.... but my weight is up :-(

Ralph has an stationary bike.... I've started using that. Hoping to lose 20 pounds by summer....... we'll see!
Got my Kindle today..... excited about using it!
Called HR about the raise in taxes on my paycheck.... no mistake, there is a change in the tax tables for 2011.
Add car insurance to my list of bills for February! pfffft!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Looking forward to March!!!!

OFFLINE | Morning! It's February..... ugh. Not a fan of this month, so now that it's hear.... let's get it over with!
Watching the weather across the US this morning..... so many friends and family in the path of this storm....
Tree trimmer will be here today or tomorrow. Trees will get pruned and sprayed.... hopefully we'll have some nice fruit this summer!
Loving the Kindle Mary! Doing the exercise bike twice a day for 10 minutes to start- building up slow instead of jumping in and hurting myself. Going to do this smart for once!

OFFLINE | Happy Tuesday everyone! WOW can you believe it's February! Where did January go? It just seems my life is going crazy right now and fast...LOL
Haven't been posted in awhile, been lurking, just busy...GREAT busy...sorry to read so many of you are having so many issue's...sincerely hope things are better for you all...I know how difficult things can be.
Sylvia, NO you aren't being selfish...I've had a revolving door at my house several times as you all know and really enjoyed living alone, then enjoyed them coming back too. Kid's are just kid's and they do have to grow up. You are a great Mom and and a GREAT example...she's lucky to have you as a Mom.....
Barbara, Grammahood looks GREAT on you!
Well, life's great right now...I keep thinking it can't get better, but I'm happy....

OFFLINE | Hi everyone.. my first chance to check in all day.. Hope everyone that is getting the storms are keeping safe and warm. If you dont have to go out, stay in!! Its been snowing here all day. and starting around 4 a.m. its going to be starting again!!! yay.. up to 2 ft of the white stuff..
If you're in warm weather... Yayyy for you.... send some of it to us snow bunnies!!!! Hope everyone is having a grand week so far!!! |

OFFLINE | Good Morning Everyone! We survived the big storm! We got almost all ice, LOTS of it! And about 4 inches of snow on top of that! A few miles from here they got 20 inches of snow! Interstate 70 from Wentzville, Mo. to Kansas City, Mo. was closed all night! Fortunately we didn't lose our power. We are still expecting snow showers all day, but not much. But it's going to be below zero tonight with very high winds blowing snow! Stay warm & safe everone! |
