Guess what guys!!! Mods here are going to be able to change our words YAY!! They'll be able to edit anyone's post instead of just deleting it-so they can make you say whatever they want, or however they want you to. Aren't you so **** happy????


When I was a mod I saw the **** that went down with that kind of "power". I refused to use it, if I wanted to change someone's words I would just delete the whole post instead.

Because admins of the new forums requested it. What goes for one, goes for all. It gets my panties in a bunch because I don't give 2-shits if mods can delete my post, but I'll be **** damned if someone can go in and change my words that are connected to my Facebook profile.  ****.that.****.

I'm just glad you guys are on my friends list, cuz I don't think I'll be posting in here too much longer. Not with stupid **** like that in the works. I'd rather not get overly attached to a place, then to have to leave it later over bullshit. If a place has **** up rules with reprucussions like that, I don't need to stick around.

Well before we all abandon ship on this place, lets go ask them to remove that feature in the forums suggestion area. Can't see them leaving it on, if they know it will kill this place. Proof is Myspace forum, where King **** killed that place, and didn't give a **** what anyone wanted.

Heath, I think you under estimate how much of a.... .... .... control other people want to have over their forum, which in turn gives that kind of control into every forum. I don't know, but considering what I've seen and how loud and obnoxiously opinionated I am, I refuse to stay in a forum that does this on principal.

If Alan leaves it as a 'delete only' this place has a lot of potential, but if he doesn't I refuse to stay. He doesn't have to listen to a lowly little user like me, andt that's okay, I just don't have to post in/promote this forum anymore either.


(pretty pathetic I have to now tell you that was not an edit up there, that was me trying to refrain and be nice)

I hear you, but what if it was like it was when we all used to love the Myspace forum before King killed it. Our mod controlled our forum, and everyone else butted out? The mod can't edit posts, but he can lock topics/threads, and he can delete them for obvious reasons. We also have a place where we can go complain if need be about our Mod. We hated some of the admins on myspace because they were nazis, but they stayed the hell the metal forum, and it seemed to work fine. It was until Redrum go sick of our **** and left that the place went all to hell.

I won't be going anywhere as long as no one but myself can alter my words. Like I said, this place has a lot of potential and I believe it'll be a fun(ner) place once there are more users. The core group we have going on is great, and I like posting here, I just hope I don't have to leave.
