Hey, I'm not sacrificing the drummer! The drummers that work with me are more rock oriented. These songs won't benefit from the rock treatment therefore I attempted the task on my own. I'm going for simple here. I'm a little shakey on the drums so I had to do some digital editing to tighten it up. I think BTE would be happy to know I didn't go straight for the drum machine and gave it my best shot using real drums. As shakey as my drumming is, the track still has more life than if I used a beat box. We'll have to wait 'till the song is finished before we pass judgement on it.

Real drummers can't be beat ( :0), but I'm not in a situation where I can record a drum kit these days. Too little space, too little sound-proofing, too few mics. So, for the moment, I have to make do with the drum kits in Logic.
