Awww, Jan. I'm sorry. I understand your hurt and upset. Last year when my old, old kitty (she was 19) got very ill, someone told me I needed to have her put to sleep and I cried and cried. I could not do it. She was so very old and I'd had her since she was tiny and I kept thinking she would be so scared. She died at home and I know I did the right thing.

OFFLINE | Media focus on politician infidelity and promiscuity is starting to get on my nerves. This is a very common thing that exists without prejudice and I'm never surprised when new stories of this comes about. The idea of all politicians being some paragon of character excellence seems more like a fantasy than a reality. And since monogamy or non-promiscuous behavior is obviously unpopular by and large, I'd really rather media focus be directed at things were quality differences can actually be made. |
