Last night I watched "A Matador's Mistress" aka "Manolete" on Netflix and was blown away.

A tragic romance about one of my hero's ... Manolete ... the greatest bullfighter Spain has ever known ... who was involved in one of the most epic bullfights ever to occur against the mighty "Islero" ... where they wound up killing each other.

And it stars Penelope Cruz, not only one of the classic beauties of our time, but also one of the greatest actresses.

Five out of Five stars.

ummm...two Disney movies with my youngest, don't remember the names but it was part 1 and 2...something about fairies; animation mixed with real live scenes. Was pretty good actually.

Or maybe that was just the vicodin!

Watched "Get him to the greek" again last night. Woke up earlier than normal and the rain cancelled my morning run, so I watched Donnie Brasco.

If you want some more laughs, watch "Death at a funeral" with Chris Rock, Martin Lawrence, Danny Glover & Rosario Dawson. James Marsden's character is frickin' hilarious!!!

Green Hornet.

Kind of a weirdly humorous movie.

Didn't make it to the movies so I watched "Empire" last night on Netflix.

Good flick.  I'd forgotten how talented John Leguizamao is (anybody know what happened to him?)

21 Grams ... GREAT cast (3 of my favorite actors) ... dark, disturbing .... VERY good ... hard to stick with because of the shuffling of three simultaneous stories, all centering on a traffic accident ... but WELL worth it.
