Happy Easter platoon 2127! Only 19 days left before graduation! OOO RAAAAA! I haven't heard from my recruit in a week! Maybe they are doing the crucible early since they are ahead of schedule.. Has anyone heard if they are doing the crucible early?

I here there is a meet and greet planned for wed. night. Does anyone have any info on this? Do we have to RSVP to anyone? Our Family will be flying in from Chicago about 3:00 wed. afternoon. I think we will be able to make it. Has anyone received a phone call? Hope we get one.

Hey Larry, i think there is an RSVP going through the recruitparents website. I wish I was able to go but my flight doesnt get in until almost 11pm :/. I havent heard of anyone in platoon 2127 getting phone calls yet, but platoon 2125 has been receiving phone calls so im hoping little time for us until we get ours

Just got our call from Andrew for Travel reservations. It was a short call. He said he might call again. He mentioned that the next letter he writes will be the last one. He sounded a little stressed. His voice sounded alot better then before. He was in MRP with peumonia for 4 weeks.

I haven't received any phone call yet, but the letter I got yesterday said to keep my phone on me at all times this week. The crucible is next Week for Fox Co. Charlie Co is this week. I know that the Fox Co was doing Final Drills this week before the crucible. They should be having their second fittings for their dress blues this week as well. Less than two weeks before we travel to Cali. OOOO RAAAA!

Hopefully tomorrow you get one! I missed mine and im hoping my husband gets another chance to call. I absolutely broke my heart, you could hear it in his voice he was not happy! Gosh.. i cant believe i missed it! The worst part is that the phone was on me... i just didnt notice it ringing!!!!!!

I would like to say CONGRATULATIONS to all the family members with Recruits in Plt. 2127.....with a little over a week before graduation I can only imagine how excited you ALL must be!!!!!!!~ My son is in Plt. 2166 with a graduation date of July 8th so we still have a ways to go......But I am anxiously awaiting July!!!!! Again congratulations to you all and way to WORK Plt. 2127!!!!! Oooorraaahhhh!!~

Thank you Apryl. Our men are about to undergo the crucible and we are anxiously waiting to hear their success! Im sure for you the days are going slow and the weeks are just getting by.. but you will be at this time before you know it!

Oh Boy Danielle...the final stretch!!!!!!So this would mean that you all have received your phone calls or will be getting them this Sunday????? My days are going slow...seemingly at a snails pace!!!!! LOL....But I will tell you I find so much comfort in my sons letters!!!! He sounds so happy and well adjusted....and of course this pleases me....and he FINALLY began receiving our letters!!!! It seemed like the first 5 that he had sent to us had no corelation to anything we were writing to him!!! That was so hard for me as I didn't want him standing there during mail call and feeling as if he had no support!!!!! But FINALLY he has started getting them!!! YAY!!!! So as we sit at Day 23 Week 4 and them not going to Phase 2 for a little under 2 weeks it seems as if July will never get here!!! I know it will though!!! Again I am so happy for ALL of you and I hope that you have a wonderful graduation with your Marines and can't wait to hear all about it!!!!!!!! Way to go Plt. 2127!!!!

We finally got our call on Saturday night. He is doing AWESOME! The crucible started today though, so much prayers are necessary! OOO RAAAAAH!!

Oh Stacey that is awesome that you got your call!!! How did he sound? Did he sound different to you then he did almost 4 months ago????? Did you get to talk to him for very long? I am praying for all of your sons, husbands, boyfriends and fiances in plt. 2127 during the Crucible!!! I hope they all do well and get their Kings Menu!!!!!!! He sounded good. He sounds very different now. They only give them exactly 4 minutes to talk to you. 9 more weeks, that means he should almost be in phase II or just starting it. I wish you luck. This 13 weeks went way faster than I thought they were going to go though.

Yes Stacey he is almost in Phase 2....They actually have Drill Inspection tomorrow which they are looking forward to and hoping to WIN!!!!!! There DI's have told them that they think they can take it all!!!! 4 minutes is better than no minutes... I am absolutely looking forward to that call more than you know....Of course I love my letters that I get but I miss hearing his wonderful voice!!!!!!! I am glad that you said the 13 weeks went faster than you thought......At this moment it seems as if July will never get here but I know in a blink of an eye I will be just like all of you and anxiously waiting to drive to SD and see my son!!!!!! As soon as my youngest son (who is currently a sophmore in HS) gets out of school on June 2nd which is only 18 more days.....(school days that is) the time should fly by I hope!!!!!!! I know what you mean Apryl. When your in the middle of the journey it seems like it takes absolutely FOREVER!!!! And now we are sitting here, about 2 days before we leave, wondering how we got to this point..... and scrambling to get things done before we depart. I also finally received a phone call after missing it the first time he tried. I dont know if its because i havent talked to him in 3 months, but he sounded different. I almost think a lower voice and a lot more calm. It obviously has nothing to do with growing up because hes 24 The letters from Adam were my everything. They are what got me through the week. And writing him letters helped also. I still write him letters, but dont send them. Im going to give them to him thursday (family day) and let him read it when he has to go back to the barracks after liberty. I love how you are reaching out and communicating with everyone! I found talking to people going through the same thing very comforting! If you have any questions please ask!
