OFFLINE | Our forum is up and running, but nobody can seem to post. They are presented the box to write their post and after submitting it never shows up. What are we doing wrong?
We also need a better explanation of what is required for somebody to post. Do they need to "like" the site? I have chosen the button "users must like the forum to view it", but that is for VIEWING... what about posting? What is required for somebody to post? Why are dozens of people too stupid to figure out how to post? What are they required to do????? Why is this so hard and not intuitive????

OFFLINE | I'm one of the users of this new forum and it should really be straight froward but it isn't. Once in the forum, it ask that you login into Facebook even though I am already on Facebook. Then the screen will act like it will let you login only to return back to the same screen and ask you to do it all over again and again. Yesterday, I don't know what I did but it didn't ask me that question any longer about login through the forum. It just let me type a topic, type my questions and hit "submit my post" and it worked. Today, it doesn't. The only difference is I am using my laptop which is an iMac and yesterday I was using my main computer which is also an iMac. There are 100s of people waiting to post but are having difficulties. It's not that the software doesn't work, we just don't understand how to make it work for this forum. Any and all help would be excellent. I do not own the forum in question but I really do need the help and information which it contains. Thank you for your time with helping get this problem resolved so that this forum can be more user friendly for all of us standing in line. |

OFFLINE | Now here is the really crazy thing. Now it is working again for me and the only thing I did was visit this "official forum" again like I did yesterday. Could the problem be within the "like" the main forum to post somehow linking it back to this forum and within the software making it to were the users must like or use "both" forums? It shouldn't be this hard or confusing, but somehow it is. |

OFFLINE | How can this forum in question be made to recognize the user with the little blue arrow like this thread has? The forum in question doesn't have one of these. It is a printed login at the bottom that won't let users login. When I logout and then back in, the forum doesn't recognize me without coming here first and logging into this site with the little blue arrow icon. Then I have no problem then so it has to be somewhere in the settings somehow. I just can't see them because I am not an admin or the owner but this trick seems to be a big part of the forum having so many problems with posting a thread. It will be a pain to have to do this every time. How can it be fixed and made more user friendly? Thanks again for all your help. |

OFFLINE | Yes, still having trouble. Hundreds of people try to post but can't.
Alan, just tell us how to do it! Do the have to LIKE the main facebook page? Do they have to "authenticate" their profile? Are they required to allow Forums to have access to their Facebook friends?
Nobody can figure out how to use it. They post things and submit and it never shows up.
Alan... they post things an it never shows up. remains blank.

If a users see his/her profile image at the top right, that means, the user successfully logged in your forum.
They should be able to create topics and reply posts without any problems.
I think some of the users are having problems while logging in . I am working on it. |

OFFLINE | Alan, you can read the posts on our Facebook page of the experiences people are having. It is the second post from the top. As the admin, I always see the little icon, but I'm not sure everybody else does.
Do they have to "LIKE" the page to get this icon?
