OFFLINE | OK, I am going to read the post you mentioned. Your forum users don't need to like your page to get the icon.
But your setup requires that your forum users should like the page to view your forum on your page. |

OFFLINE | The issue: All FB applications require the user to allow the application to access their FB data and yours is no exception. However, even after allowing access through FB, the software will at times not recognize the user.
On a side note, as this forum is being used for posts related to health, users may be concerned as to what level of access the application has to their data and the privacy of their posts within the forum. It is my understanding that Forum will only have access to the level of information that is made available under the users privacy settings along with all of their friend information that is dependent on their privacy settings. However, posts in the forum are public to all forum users. Is this correct? |

OFFLINE | The mess above is a result of my attempts to post to this forum - I couldn't see it as having posted thus the multiple attempts. until the last time. I am leaving it in place in hopes that perhaps it will help you identify the problems with the software! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We are not stupid here - this software is not working correctly. |

OFFLINE | I am having the same trouble using the forum on the Parathyroid Awareness page as other people have written above. For me it is inconsistent, sometimes my posts show up, sometimes I just get blank pages, even though the subject line posts. I've gone through all the steps suggested. I liked the page, registered for the forum ( I think), authenticated myself by answering 2 questions. Now when I go to the forum, I see a little icon of my picture with a blue down arrow next to it. When I write something, and submit it, I've had it post successfully twice. But more times than not, I submit the thing, and the screen just goes blank and the text disappears. I can't go in and edit the post (because it is empty), I can't comment on other people's topics.
And I cant figure out how to delete things. I've written several "empty" posts, and would like to delete them, but don't see a way to do this.
People using this forum don't really know how to register or how to post. There should be instructions at the top on how to do this. People don't know if this is appearing on their newsfeed or timelines, or who can read it out in cyberspace. |

OFFLINE | Alan... I agree with the folks above. What's the story? Is the software not ready for prime time?

OFFLINE | I believe this problem is happening because some of your forum users pasted from MS Word etc.
All the codes are messing up with the forum system.
I am working on it. |

OFFLINE | One of the reasons we are having to cut and paste from Word is because our posts are disappearing from the bulletin forum box we are typing in. I know I did it that way because I lost my text too many times simply typing in the box. This will be a test as I haven't posted since the problems occurred. |

OFFLINE | Ok - one thing that is happening is that the page is not refreshing after a post is made. You have to go all the way out and then back in to be able to successfully see your post. That is what I had to do with my test post above. |
