Hi, I had mine through Transform glasgoe but my appt with the surgeon is this Thursday in Aberdeen as i live up here now and they do a clinic up here once a week imseeing Mr Ottaviani, who are u seeing? x

I've just had a call from Transform to arrange a meeting with the co-ordinator and my surgeon at the end of the month.  The lady wasn't sure what would happen at the actual review so would be keen to hear from others who have theirs in the meantime.  Many thanks xx

I had my pip implants march 2005 and I was confirmed by transforms I was one of the people carrying pips ... I said I was aware and I have seeked medical advice from my GP.. I told th I had been examine and thedoc had found a bulge on one implant or weakening but couldnt confirmed because
Mine was deep under the muscle it was difficult to tell and need a scan to confirm... Transform told me she would arrange a scan BUT  I will have to pay £200 for this.. I was shocked why? They should be offering to scan us!
I was also told they will remove but to place them it's another £2600 oh but it's a discounted rate just for us..... Wow how lucky are we!!! Yeah right I said to her how can u expect us to have to pay twice for faulty good that are banned aNd not fit to be implanted into a human... I know it's not the ladies fault but I was so angry .... If I had a faulty car that was recalled due to a safety concern that MAY CAUSE HARM it would be fixed for free no questions asked but when it comes to our safety concerns it doesn't matter we r told to deal with it or pay twice.. I'm not sleeping, I'm not concentrating at work and my family life is being effected by the stress and not knowing!! Why can't they do the right thing... THEIR SAYING IS... TRANSFORMING LIVES ... For me they HAVE !!!! it's caused me stress, upset and pure panic. Why can't they do the right thing.

I am also seeking legal advise regarding  transform... I rang and asked again for
Info on my implants to be fobbed off! They said they aren't allowed to tell me anything at present .. I said I do believe under the freedom of information act I am intitled to view all my medical notes ... They then said we have no information here it's at head office?! Yeah right .... I'm due to go see my consultant on the 30 th jan I am hoping by then they have excepted responsibility and will be removing and replacing for free... Otherwise I will be ready to fight.... Good luck who ever has their consultation.!
