OFFLINE | I've been collecting TFs for a while and these are just some of the tools that i found to be useful.
1. Screwdriver set. Man the types of screws are growing with TF types..Very important to get a good one - Some of those cheap screwdrivers can cause your screw head to be damaged so get good ones. At the same time, I do keep extra screws from 'throw off' TFs..in case of rusty screws needing replacements.
2. Dremel or handheld drill. I've used this to fix a few things - from broken kebaya joints to trying to remove a headless screw etc. Dremel is also good for customization, cutting PVC plastic and also other 'house hold' chores lol.
3. Cutter. Yes. I use this to cut styrene - in case of customization and also for model kits. Just to be careful. The cheaper option would be those in stationary shops. But if you want fine cuts you'd need to go to a model kit shop of those at bras basah that have specialized ones for architects.
4. Putty - 2 mix putty. Yes. You removed the screw but as a result created a bigger hole with the drill. 2 mix putty, put in..wait to cure and dry. Redrill a hole.. Fixed the screw hole issue.
5. Paint - Tamiya acrylic does most of repair paint works. Gotta ensure you get the right color , and also whether it's matt or shiny etc.
More stuff later........ |
