I been thinking about this one. I absolutely agree that compromise is necessary. But I think it's fairly subjective also. For example, and for me personally, an inappropriate compromise would be something that contradicts my core values. And core values can be relative to many things, like religious and/or spiritual views for example. And with that example, sometimes I think compromises could lead to further religious and/or spiritual growth, but not always.
So in that sense, I think Compromise can be just as subjective as the argument between conditional and unconditional love, and quite relative to areas of compatibility between partners. |
