I watched the British Top Gear for the last year or two... LOVE

Watched the new American one.... they are getting better, but it isn't the same, I still want to watch Richard and the gang.

Sitcoms I watch.... I think the only show I watch now that would be considered a sitcom would be The Big Bang Theory.  Everything else is SciFi, documentary (NOT reality TV), or dramas.  It's not like the old days of Rosanne, Full House, Home Improvement, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and Murphy Brown where there were a lot of good options IMHO.  It seems like there are just not a lot of them on anymore, it's all police or medical drama (I love me some Dr. House!) and since we have DVR we can tape the shows that are on later so we don't just watch TV because it's on.

why can't life be like a sitcom? everything is funny, even awkward moments, and all of your problems are solved 30 minutes later. it's amazing.

Well Everyone Loves Raymond was kinda funny when it first started..... but then it fell flat (probably the writing).  I want the OLD sitcoms back...that were fantastic:

Mork & Mindy

The Jeffersons

Sanford and Son

All in the Family

just to name a few.....back then...they had funny shows...and no laugh track...it was all done "impromptu"

ohhh and I should say that I miss

Whose Line is it Anyway?  and The Carol Burnett Show

I like those too Mary.    You can still watch Sanford & Son and All in the Family still on TV Land.

I'm enjoying Malcom in the Middle right now.

Mob Wives on VH1. Well I guess that's not really a sitcom but still good.
