OFFLINE | I have basic via converter box .I get CBS,FOX,PBS,and ION right now. I watch a ton of CBS or ION.
Big bang theory,2 1/2 men,and simpsons are my favorite sitcoms . Shows like NCIS(not LA),Hawaii 5-0,Criminal Minds , CSI(Not Miami/NY),and the mentalist are what I like. When it was on UPN ,when Ihad UPN I watched Legend of the seeker, and Stargate Atlantis reruns
I despise How i met your Mother,Mike N Molly, Rules of engagement ,!@#$ my dad says...they remind me of the terrible shows like Friends,Frasier(cheers rules),Seinfield |

OFFLINE | I'm a fan of the older Two and a Half men shows (like Dod), Deadliest Catch, Top Gear (the BBC version), Stargate Universe, Fringe, House, Pawn Stars, Ice Road Truckers, Everest: Beyond the Limit (which I think is gone now), and the new Dr. Who (again on BBC). |

OFFLINE | I don't really watch sitcoms anymore. I do like Axe Men. Other shows I watch are:
Warehouse 13
Haven
Futurama
Venture Brothers
Celebrity Ghost Stories
Fact or Faked
Covert Affairs
O'Reilly Factor
History Detectives
Glenn Beck
American Dad
Brad Meltzik's Decoded
Those are the main ones. There's also a tv miniseries on called American Lives 2 that I like, about african Americans researching their genealogy.

 OFFLINE | Sit coms?
Blackadder (the best, by far).
Friends
Fawlty Towers
Extras (genius...anyone who can get David Bowie to sing 'Sad little fat man' deserves all the accolades they can get)
Ugly Betty (brilliantly written and it made us laugh)
The Simpsons (obviously).
At the moment there are a few things we watch. We don't as a rule watch TV. Most of it is ****. But there is quality out there which we watch via the internet when it's on. Yes, I know these aren't sitcoms!:
The Mentalist (brilliantly written and performed, ok, yes it's Sherlock Holmes in a modern setting, bit it's got heart and darkness)
Grand Designs (about people who design and build their own houses, but it's really good quality)
Top Gear (Brilliant, funny, the best combination of presenters on tv, EVER.
Desperate Housewives (great writing)
Aside form that there are some great documentaries, Hughes Fish Fish is brilliant at the moment. Thank god for the internet, the BBC and Channel 4.
Just out of interest, what is the deal with "everyone loves Raymond'? Is it supposed to be funny?
Oh, almost forgot. Years ago there was a sitcom called 'action' about an LA studio executive. That was good. |
