Considering that the nearest PrePaid card from where I live is a two hour drive, I consider it lame for the premium silk transactions. The only answer I have for myself is for securities. A cash exchange is basically guaranteed, as with a credit/debit card, the host is unsure as to if the cards even possess the money. For example, if I bought something using a credit card, yet didn't have the money and of course never planned to, and they went ahead and went through with my transaction, knowing they would eventually get their money in later years due to debt of the consumer, who's on the crap end? My answer is the person selling whatever.

Now, as for two currencies, I do believe there should be some sort of transaction for Normal Silk > Premium. Say a 1/3 fee? Just an example.

Jessica, as for "if they'll change it not" (if that was even the question you asked. I got a bit lost with all the open ended answers by Luciella) I did research on forums for other games by Joymax, all of which have the same complaint, and considering all these games have been around for sometime, and yet nothing has changed, I wouldn't plan on there being a single currency. So I feel comfortable in answering for Luciella.

As with every F2P, the better players will of course MOSTLY be those who purchase from the cash shop. It's a fact. My only argument is, what does Joymax think makes them the higher standing company that allows them to feel comfortable with giving two currency to purchase? What I mean is, they're probably not going to do very well money wise, if everyone is obviously mad with their Cash Shop transactions. I have yet to see a game produced by Joymax get any credit for anything.

But, I'm rambling. And what does my argument matter? It's not what the players WANT, it's what they NEED. They only listen when it comes to technical issues. The only reason I'm playing this F2P is because it's my child hood as my favorite genre of a video game: MMO. I give it two weeks, before the $50 (not including fees) I spent on Normal Silk becomes useful, and I say forget it. Guild Wars baby.

Thanks for your feedback, Matthew. I like your idea of having the ability to change from Normal Silk > Premium Silk. I'll let the team know.

As for why there are two currencies, I honestly believe it's all about marketing and partnerships, hence only the partner sites can allow you to purchase Premium Silk and that Joymax has exclusive items only for Premium Silk buyers in order to satisfy their partners as well.

But like I've said, Normal Silk items will already be available come commercial release so those who have purchased Normal Silk can already use them for the Cash Shop.

I still only hope the exact items for Premium are available for Normal. For the same price mind you, where would be the fairness in jacking up prices? Honestly I agree with Matthew, if this turns out to be a let down, I'll be quite content playing my old PS1 games, fiddling with my Digivices and rewatching the cartoons.

This can be a great game, but the way things are going, I'm half bracing for a smack in the face for those who can only get "Normal" Silk when it comes to the cash shop.

Here's at least hoping there will be more eggs! That last little "And three new mercenaries" line was...well, I giggled. One and three are very different numbers!

I'm perfectly happy to farm for what I want. After breaking 50 Piyomon eggs, I finally got a 3/5 rated Digimon(going for 4/5 to kill time now). But now and then, it's nice to be able to splurge and get yourself something nice in a game you enjoy playing, y'know? I do think Gomamon or Hawkmon would be a nice addition to test out "Normal Silk."

tbh if you live in the states and care complaining, you shouldn't be. there's an option for paysafecards and america does sell them. it even tells you on their site where in your state you can get them. so americans can still get the benefits of premium silk. however, canada doesn't have that luxury and that's disappointing.

on the note of premium silk and normal silk..if the items aren't the same and there's no payment option like paypal for prem silk, a lot of people are going to be mad. if something like evoluters is only for premium silk and something like fatigue restore pills are for normal silk, it's like making people pay to get only a little bit of an advantage even if they're paying the same amount as premium silk buyers. that's just a rip off imo because if you're going to be buying something for the same price as premium silk buyers, you should at least get the same items.

i think it could work having evoluters, etc. for both normal and premium silk because premium silk makes items tradeable so if you wanna sell evoluters in game, buy premium silk. if you want it just for yourself, buy normal silk. a lot of people will do both because people do like selling things for more in game money. that's the only way to make it fair.

I actually appreciate that there are two kinds of currency that we can have a choice to buy tradable and non-tradable items, because in DBO, it really sucks when every item is non-tradable. But the biggest problem with the current system is that, i can't see why the payment methods for those two options are different. As long as you have a contract with the prepaid or ecash company, i think you have the right to decide the usage and price setting of your own cash item. So, i think it is actually pretty ridiculous that you need to use certain methods for one currency, but other methods for another currency.

I suggest you use UKash as it seem this is the only option to use if you want to buy premium silk in Australia. Go visit UKash website as there a search function for you to use to check where to buy Ukash in your nearest area.
