Well I'm quite proud of the young adults my kids have become.  My son graduated from college less than two years ago.... passed his CPA exam within the first year he was working full time as an accountant...and just got a $2,000 a year raise.  My daughter has just applied for nursing school and was thrilled that she passed Anatomy/Physiology with an A- !!!  I felt like I was constantly bugging them about homework and getting to bed at a decent hour...but it has all paid off...they are certainly coming into their "own"...and yes...I'm dang proud of them!!

She aced it thanks!

Next starts the trials for 2 years to represent SA in junior hockey! LOL

It's great to have a place to be proud of our kids

But more important than any sports achievements, my daughter went to Shabat with her best friends Granny, and they phoned me to say they have never met such a well mannered and good humored little girl! My heart swelled...

Love hearing about everyone's pride and love for their children.  I've got plenty of that to go around also ... along with a huge hardship and heart break with my daughter.     The ups and downs of parenthood have really consumed my last couple years (and we think it's hard when they're little).

My eldest completed his degree at Kansas State University a couple years ago (yep, a house divided ... lol ... he did not go to University of Kansas ~ Rock, chalk)  and is now a student at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago working towards his Masters of Art Design in Designed Objects and Graphic Design.  He is engaged to his lovely high school sweetheart who just completed her final year of law school and is awaiting the bar.

My youngest is a sophomore in high school and doing very well.  He's decided to go to K-State also, for his degree in architecture so he is working towards that.  He's VERY much into music and is self taught on guitar and piano.  He and his friends are trying to get a lil band together for this summer.  He's still the sunshine of my each and every day ... God has smiled upon me.

Teri,

you sure do have a lot to be proud of.  Your children have goals!!!  that in itself is fantastic.  Shows what good parenting theyve had.
