 OFFLINE | One major thing I really miss here is the notifications for the replies in threads I've started or posted in. I have to go through all my posts manually to check if there's a new post in it. There should be a "Subscribed Threads" feature here, like it's in other forums. And urgently!!!
Oh and it would be great if you let user decide that he wants an email notifications, facebook notification, or both...

OFFLINE | Oh well, I just discovered the "Last Threads" option, lol...sorry...my bad...But it still doesn't replaces "Subscribed Threads" feature, as we can't remove the threads from "Last Threads". And the notification part is still missing... |

OFFLINE | Sadly, Facebook will deprecate Notification method very soon. However email notification can be integrated. |

Topic notification system is almost finished.
Since Facebook will deprecate Notification method very soon, email notification will be used.
Here is the system:
* You can choose any topic to subscribe.
* You can unsubscribe them anytime.
* When people replied the topic you subscribed (more than one), you will only receive one email (until you read the topic)
* You need to define an email address for the notifications in "My Profile" menu first.

Glad to say that subscription feature is ready: http://apps.facebook.com/facebook_forums/read.php?lang=1&t=Subscription_feature_is_ready&id=721
It is a nice feature. You can subscribe to the topics in the forum. Thus, the Forum can let you know when people reply to the topics you subscribed.
The good thing is, you will receive only one notification email until you read the topic. So there will be no spam emails.
