OFFLINE | For dietary supplements, they are:
- A combination of Vit-B's + Zinc in a bottle
- Vit-E 200 I.U.
- Salmon Fishoils
- Primrose Oil/GLA (good against inflammations)
- A combination of glucosamine + chondroitin in a bottle
Yea.. I know that's a lot. It runs in the family
As for sports supplements, I stick to the basics:
- Liquid protein - SciVation, O.N., Inner Armor and Ultimate's wheat protein ( haven't had these in a while though. It's mostly solid food post-workout)
- Creatine monohydrate (brother has half a tub left and is no longer taking so I sapu )
Might want to give tribulus terrestris and L-carnitine a try when I have some extra cash to spend. That's about all that I'm willing to look at for supplements - there's a dizzying array of pre-workout/post-workout/intra-workout supplements in the market and I don't really believe in them. You could actually make pre-workout supplements if you purchase the ingredients all on your own, which is much cheaper anyway without the other stuffs that either don't work or don't have the sufficient amount to work. And don't get me started with all that 'proprietary blend' crap in supplements.
I'd like to stay as natural (free from drugs AND supplements) as possible because I personally believe that's what true strength is all about. |
