Taj vai... I can easily guess now where this market is heading.... But Will it be a stupid to play a 50-50 role.. i mean 50% stocked and 50% encashed money to play in bearish market and support the other 50%. 85% of my portfolio consists of Banks...whereas 55% of that is on UCb

1. You can sell at the first day after record date,still you will get your bonus shares in your BO account. No problem with that.

2. No,it is not necessary to have mature shares in your portfolio of a particular stock before the record date to be eligible to get bonus for it.

Here is the fun part. If you have a look at a margin account,you would see that the broker house actually has not increased any loan ratio. Just have a look and ask yourself "why"!!!

This type of eyewash only makes the market more chaotic! Traders now should be left to decide what they want to do instead of creating rumor after rumor to intervene in the market. GOV intervenes and false rumors are creating more trouble in the market.
