We're under a winter weather advisory and it's currently 37 degrees.

Sunny.  Mid to upper 90s this afternoon.  Some of the cities in the Phoenix metro area will break 100...first one of the year!

You're doing a stint in AZ now?

Yep...move every 3 to 7 months.  Been working/living at a dude ranch (http://www.kayelbar.com/) since the beginning of October in Wickenburg...which is about 45 minutes outside of Phoenix if you were driving from there to Vegas.  The season ends on May 1, then I have a couple of days to finish deep cleaning/closing up the kitchen.  This is my 4th 'winter' season down here, but it's also my last.  I'll be up at the North Rim on May 9 until October 18.

I'll find my winter gig probably in August, right now I'm thinking:  Hawks Cay Resort near Marathon FL; The Ivey House in Everglades City FL; Ocean Reef Club in Key Largo FL; Loon Mountain Ski Resort near Lincoln NH; Mammoth Mountain ski resort in Mammoth Lakes CA; or a ski resort in Copper Mountain CO..but those are just my early looks...

I'm envious.  And live vicariously through your travels.

Been to Florida?  Marathon or Key Largo would be a treat.  Everglades City ... about as far south as you can get on the West Coast of FL ... definitely a different kind of place.

But hey ... ANY of those locations would be a great adventure.

Kudo's for figuring out an incredible lifestyle!

And when we have another big get together and if you're up for it, we gotta figure out how to get you to be our master chef!
