THG have told me if I can prove rupture they will remove and replace for free which I can't argue with . If I haven't ruptured then will will do a discounted price of £2500 for removal & replacement which is appalling we shouldn't have to pay a penny .
I will be calling them tomorrow to see if they have changed their stance any since the news of friday x

Hi I got pip may 2009, hospital group.. Phoned 2 ask what was happening there and the girl said she not sure that a hotline opening tommorow,im not paying them anything, and if In the end I have to then il be going elsewhere incase of any further let-downs.. They jump quick enough when you first get them done, but when a problem evolves they dont want to know. I have had pain since day 1 and been referred  twice 2gt scans due to pain and lumps b4 this disaster came about ,i just wish id never got this done in 1st place. Iv lost all confidence in them. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Even if they offer to remove and replace free of charge I don't think I'd want to go back with them, I'd prefer for a legal team to get compensation so I can go to another hospital.

OMG girls!!!!!
And hi to everyone, I had my BA done way back in 2000 when the hospital group was known as Bodyline. I've never really thought about it all till now but mine haven't been right for ages. I've had 2 kids since my op and presumes the lumpy abnormal look was just part of that! But as I read many articles and posts on various sites etc I realise I have many of the symptoms of rupture! I'm scared beyond belief! I haven't got any paperwork apart from 1 piece of paper (which I can't find atm) I know my surgeon was Mr Marizano, that's about it! I have filled in the online form and will go to GP this week, is there anything else I can do?

They assured me last week they would follow the government advice...however, advice was to remove and replace just like the NHS are doing with their patients...they are not doing this and appear to be cashing in BIG time.
I wont be paying a penny to them. Everyone needs to be strong and not give in to pressure to pay these people anything - they have a duty to us as patients to make good the **** up that they have done and pursue their insureres for the cost.
The NHS shouldnt have to pay either.

I got asked to ne put straight through to ingram street Hospital group office in glasgow. They thought i was making a new appointment so returned my call but i wasnt backing down on an appointment i have been in and out of their office 4 times over the last year. I was referred by my GP to the NHS and went to the appointment only to be refused a scan. I was then called back to my GP to be told he had received a letter from the NHS consultant plastic surgeon telling me to urgently contact my surgeon to get these banned implant out asap. I have and the Hospital group say i need the mri scan done before they will replace any potential ruptured implants for free. So now have to go back to my doctor to see if he can make the bloody hospital scan me now its all out in the media, also have an appointment with the Hospital group on the 19th of Jan but the girl herself told me it was pointless as they wouldn't do anything without a scan!! roundabout!!!
