1. YOU MUST LIKE OUR PAGE! THOSE WHO DONT WILL LOSE ALL PARTICIPATION THREADS BY REMOVAL OF ADMINS!

2. SAFE TRADERS - Always send first to a Safe Trader member on our STL. They have earned that right. If your name is not on our SAFE TRADER LIST, you must send first to a STL member. If neither trader is on that list, we advise using a STL person as a middleman to help you complete your trade.

3. REFUSING A BUYER - At their own discretion, sellers may choose to limit the quantity of items they are willing to sell each buyer, but they may not simply refuse to sell to a particular person.

4 If a buyer is untrusted, and not on the STL, you should post a new thread on the Trading forum to request a middleman to help with the trade. If the buyer refuses to use a middleman when there is one available, then you have the right to terminate the transaction with them (and withdraw your bid if the trade is an auction,) or if you are on the STL, you may insist that they send payment first.

5 You may not demand that a buyer send first if neither of you is on our STL, but your buyer may voluntarily agree to do so without using a middleman (though we strongly discourage this, and they do so at their own risk.) Please report any unresolved disputes to a staff member promptly, so that we can mediate the issue.

6 ACCEPTABLE CURRENCY All trades MUST include Pet Society items only. No actual cash or currencies from other games are traded on this forum. You’d think it’s a given; well now you know for certain.

7. ITEM MAXIMUM - Whether buying or selling, there is a maximum of 899 of each type of item per trade. One may only purchase 99 of the same item and one may accept only 99 of each item in trade. For example, no more than 899*5999 and 899*6666 per trade. You may trade with different currencies, as long as the maximum does not exceed 99 of each individual item.

8. PRICE GOUGING - Please keep all your prices within reason. We do not tolerate price gouging. If you feel your higher prices are acceptable, contact a staff member with links to where you saw the items actually selling at those prices and we will consider. Do not submit prices for sales that did not complete.

9 FOLLOW-THROUGH - Once you have agreed to a trade, you must follow through with it. Backing out is not acceptable and will earn you the grand prize of a 30 day suspension.

10 Please be courteous enough to send at the time of the agreed trade. If for some reason you are having difficulty with Pet Society loading, please notify your trading partner on the thread and send within 24 hours. Refusal to do so is called scamming. It will earn you a ban as well as your own 15 minutes of fame in the Pet Society Scam Prevention Center where every reputable group will see you and block you. Be wise. Send what you promised.

11. SCAMMERS - If you suspect someone of being a scammer, please contact staff and report them to us. Send us their name, profile link, and reason you suspect them. We will take note and investigate further.

12 If someone scams you, please notify us as soon as possible so we can alert all members to avoid dealing with that person. It's a good idea to record your trades. You can find free screen recording software with an Internet search. The more evidence we have of the scam, the easier it will be to help you, and also to help others.

13. COMPLAINTS - If you have a complaint, please log it in our complaint thread with a link to the unresolved issue.

14 YOUR ATTITUDE - Please remember that the staff is here to protect all of our members. Treat them with respect. Argumentative attitudes and rudeness will not be tolerated.

15. BEGGING - Begging, asking for something for free, whining, and sending inbox messages or Pet Society messages for items to members will not be tolerated. In fact, we usually just remove you from our friend lists for such matters…and warn others of those people that do so. Consistently doing so will get you banned.

16. OTHER PEOPLE'S THREADS - Never barge in on a thread creator's attempted sale or purchase. If someone creates a buying thread and you wish to buy the same item, create your own thread. In like manner, do not go on a seller's thread and offer to sell the item there. Even if you have a lower price, make your own thread. It is rude and harmful to interrupt their thread. Doing this excessively can get you banned. Create your own thread.

17. HACKED ITEMS - If you are selling an item you have hacked, please list it as such in the thread in your initial post with the words "Attention this thread is auctioning or selling hacked items. For more information on this subject please see this thread," and attach the hacked disclaimer thread listed here: viewtopic.php?f=26&t=283 . We at WOW want no misrepresentation and will not be responsible for what may happen to anyone who possesses a hacked item by obtaining it in this forum.

18 NO OUTSIDE TRADING LINKS - We do not allow posting of ANY links without Admin authorization, with the exception of your Facebook profile link. That you should put into your signature in the User Control Panel, so it goes onto every post, and that way members can friend you without having to ask for your link. We highly recommend trading on forum, not in private chat or inboxes. We will be responsible to help you only in regards to trades that occur on this forum.

19. OTHER RULES - Wishlists, giveaways, contests, have their own rules. They each have a separate Topic in this Forum. Please read and follow them all.


20 . NEW RULE ADDED as of 7/27/2011
Any items worth over 899 5999s or 6666's will only be allowed to trade in equal value items. NO trading in currencies of 5999 or 6666's NO AUCTION FOR ANY OF THE SPECIFIED ITEMS IN THIS THREAD


No price gouging rule is still implied here. Keep in mind that WOW wanted to allow the lowest possible prices for all traders .
