This won't be policed too thoroughly, but a few common courtesies are expected:
1) Try to post topics in the appropriate places to make them easier for those with your same interests to find them.
2) Save flame wars and intense verbal sparring for the appropriate departments as much as possible.
3) Post your new products/publications/groups/events ONCE ONLY in the Current events area.
4) Respect the intent of original posts: avoid hijacking threads.
5) Keep it light and friendly wherever possible. No one is getting paid for this, and we're all here for the fun of it. If we become better thinkers and better people in the process, so much the better.
