At times, our guidelines and standard operating procedure will have to be altered as our member base grows and we move in new directions. People that slander our admin team, myself or Book Worms will be permanently removed and the ban will never be lifted. Yes, there will be differing opinions and occasional disgruntlement during discussions and change where not all parties will be happy. However, there is no reason or excuse to publicly “talk trash” about anyone, especially not by name; all that accomplishes it to highlight the immaturity of the “trash talker”.
We welcome your comments and hope to host energetic, civil discussions. As you post, please keep the following in mind:
Keep your comments focused on the topic at hand
Do not use personal attacks or hate speech. Our most important request is that you treat others on this page/website respectfully. There’s plenty of room for spirited debate, but name-calling, taunting, and bullying won’t be tolerated. Nor will obscene or inflammatory language. Also, please do not post mean-spirited comments about products, devices, books, authors or others on our page/website. There are books and products out there that we’ll have our opinions on and user reviews are encouraged. There is a certain point, though, when comments can become cruel.
Do not promote a business or raise money.
When all else fails, think "Golden Rule": Treat others the way you'd like to be treated yourself.
We reserve the right to remove posts that do not follow these guidelines.

There are other book, ebook and ereader related pages/websites available on the internet. Please do not privately solicit any member here at Book Worms with your page/website. Please do not post any information on the forum or in your signature/profile pertaining to your book, ebook and ereader web site without permission. This is spamming and your account will be deleted and/or banned.
Please do not come to Book Worms and complain about how other pages/websites are run. If you do not like how a specific page/website is run, then do not go there. The same can be said about Book Worms, if you don't like how it's run then feel free to email me and I'll delete your account or show you where the “unlike” button is.
ADVERTISING:
The Book Worms fanpage was not created for you to advertise or get your information out there. Do not use our fanpage to promote your own website/blog/FB page.
Anyone intending to advertise ANYTHING to our members: You can post your info once a week in the discussion board (in the correct tab). This fan page is for book lovers and readers to discuss and share information about books. It is not an advertising venue. Information that is posted must be pertinent to our page.
Any posts not in compliance will be removed. If a poster is continually problematic after the initial removal, they will be banned for one week. After the banning has lifted, if they continue to post more than once a week (in any way shape or form) they will be permanently banned. I am sorry to be harsh but we work very hard to keep both the page free of spam.
**Book Worms page is not an official Kindle, Nook, or other eReader website, it is privately owned. Your refusal to read and heed these guidelines does not constitute a problem on my part, but yours.**
