OFFLINE | I mean yes, Black Sabbath were extremely influential and experimented a lot, but stylistically they didn't play hard rock. So just what is it you're trying to say? |

OFFLINE | i think its about enough epic active ingredients, the bar keeps raising, black sabbath had a few, ac/dc added a few more, van halen added then ratt, then metallica and so on, its like the chicken or the eeg, its hard to tell, Beethoven had neo classical metal with no doubt a worthy eliteness touch minus the altered tones we know today, also a crucial ingredient, before that primal drums had an ingredient, equally primal had its value, all ingredients to the audio language we today know as metal |

Clarify.
Define Hard rock, then tell me how that was really any different from sabbaths bluesy moments. I do acknowledge that they were a lot harder edged than a lot of their peers but there were even bands in the Progressive Rock genre that took them out in dissonance and intensity. I think the entire thing of when metal started is just a ridiculous argument and purely subjective as is almost everything pertaining to music. |

Ok, try to start a debate about metal that's actually meaningful. That'll be the day. |
