We know she was suffering. Now she's chasing ducks in heaven.
Our hearts are broken today.

Jann I'm SO very sorry about Sam ... I'm glad she died peacefully on her own and she's no longer suffering. It's difficult when one of our pet family members die ... they are *family* ... love to you and Ralph
Thank you EVERYONE for inquiring about Mark. His surgery was a great success on Tuesday. He's a bit sore and stiff from it still, but moving around better today. We are going to the gym tonight for a light workout. He thinks we will be dancing by Wednesday. We'll see.
Wednesday is also my court date to start proceedings to finalize (it's for my temp support etc until we can finalize) and I don't know if I told you all but they did finally get him served (!) ...
My sister gets the result's today from her latest biopsy, praying her cancer did not spread and it's contained. Stage 3 melanoma is scary stuff!
Late getting in and need to get some things done ...

I'm up in Paradise with Ralph.... got here yesterday, we'll probably leave this evening.... but I'm OUT OF THE HOUSE!!!!!! yayyyyyyyyy! I'm not one for sitting around!
We visited a friend yesterday who had several puppies.... one really took a shine to me! Oh, puppies are so sweet! But I am not ready for one! Still, loved playing with her.... and if I brought her home she would be Lucy! But I am NOT bringing her home!
Ralph is going to shoot ground squirrels today. I'm going to load a new book on my kindle and hopefully enjoy some sunshine.
Susan, big prayers being sent for your sister's diagnosis. And continued recovery for Mark.... and for Wednesday. I'll definitely be thinking of you.... hope that you and Mark have a reason to celebrate Wednesday night!
And everyone, thanks for your thought on Sam... she was our girl for sure, and we miss her |

It's been utterly beautiful here! Low humidity, breezy not windy and the temps are in the 80's! Great outside weather!
We went dancing last night! Took it easy, but WOW, 4 days after surgery ... he did great and we had fun as usual!
I may not have to wait until Wed (Jann, thank you for your thoughts) ... my attorney called Friday to go over everything and she said if I approach him and we can come to an agreement on Temp Support, etc she will draw it up and he won't even have to come here, then we can proceed to try to get things finalized ...
He agreed to try this, so I'm in the process of writing it up and sending to him ... we'll see ...
Melina's (my sister's) path result's came back all clear, they did get all of the cancer cell's ... although her frame of mind is not at its best. She is in a severe state of depression. She can't walk on her leg because the incision was so deep and everyone is having to wait on her night/day. I had a long talk with her on Friday ... not sure it helped. So she needs prayers still for this.
Thank you all for your continued support for me, Mark and my sister! You guys all rock!

Sounds like good news all the way around! I know Melina is depressed, but she will be walking soon enough.... and oh what a happy day that will be!
So glad you and Mark were able to go dancing!
And I'll be praying that David starts acting sensibly and agrees to everything so you don't have to go to court! |
