OFFLINE | Good Morning- we have sprinkles. But it should be warming up.
Sam..... I just don't know how she's hanging on. She's not eating. Barely moves.
Sigh.
My son cut himself at work yesterday.... on a meat saw.... 4 stitches and lost part of a finger. Went back to work as soon as he left the ER.
Looking at patio sets.... found one I love for $700 and one that will do for $100..... I want I want I WANT that $700 set..... but the practical in me says I will never get my debts paid off if I do that.... still.... so I'm going to keep looking, maybe find something in the middle..... thing is, the other day I would have been thrilled with the $100 one.... but Ralph was such a butt head....
He just spent $250 on a carpet shampooer that will get used a whole lot less..... lol
eh..... time for another cup of coffee!!!

Had a great evening with a friend last night, came home, worked late but am up early ... got a deadline and need to do some major catching up. So it's going to be a bit of a race and nuts for a while.
(sigh)
But I'm thankful. It pays the bills.

OFFLINE | Good morning everyone.....Wow...already to Tuesday....where do these weeks go?! My daughter is taking a very TOUGH Microbiology test today in college.... she had to memorize 85 flash cards -- YIKES! Praying she does well!
Jann....you should look online for the table/chairs you'd like....either that....or just the table...you can always buy chairs to match it later on too  Also keeping Sam in my prayers...it's never easy when a pet you love starts failing  SNOWING??? You can keep it...we FINALLY got 60 degree weather..and I'm LOVING IT! This weekend starts our 10 day Lilac Festival -- can't wait!!
Barbara....keeping my fingers crossed for you....that things happen as they should happen.
Patrick.....Hope you have a great day yourself..and love that little dancing smiley!!!

I am probably gonna have to help mowing our front yard this afternoon (aka: hayfield) -- have been waiting to hear from the mower place....and they finally called yesterday -- yay!

Mary- I am the queen of online shopping! I have been looking.... ALMOST bought a set the other day. Decided to think about it.... sale was over before I got back. So I'm still looking! I may end up buying two sets.... a nicer one for the cabin... we get more company there. And a small inexpensive one for Fallon.
Erin's finals should be over by now.... I know she did well!
Barb, sure hope the real estate stuff gets settled for you soon! It's gotta be hard always be up in the air.... not knowing if you will have a business or not!
Our weather is turning nice (again!). May is always the craziest weather for central Nevada. You just never know what you will get!

Sylvia must be on her business trip... I hope it's a good one for her!

Susan..... How's Mark? I'm sure the surgery went fine. And I'm sure you will do a better job taking care of him than Ralph did for me!
Sam made it through another night. Ralph and I are in disagreement about what to do.... She can't walk, I said bring the vet here.... give her a shot, let her die gently. He wants to shoot her. He saus it will be quick, she'll never know. But I will know!!!! And yes, we shoot animals.... but we EAT them!
Anyhow, he dug a hole to bury her in.....
I sat with her for a long time yesterday, it's just so sad....

Oh Jann..how depressing...about the dog...Oh I hope he doesn't shoot her...take her to the vet...
I told Bob as soon as Sadie dies...NO more dogs!
The Real Estate people came in really low on a bid...it's a big contractor from San Francisco and he is trying to buy the entire street...at least our side...So, NO deal...that is right now...so still don't know what to expect...and your right it's hard being dangled by a thread!
Susan...how did Mark do with his surgery? Hoping he has a fast recovery.
Well, I better get back to work...it's Hospice Day for my Uncle so I have to go over about 10 for the Nurse.

Jann.....So sorry to hear about your son's injury -- YIKES....hopefully, he's not feeling too bad with all those stitches! I agree with Barbara and you about the vet. Still remember having to have the vet come out for my friend's horse -- he quickly took ill and was laying on the ground. She couldn't be there for it....nor could I. Thankfully, my dad held the lead rope and petted him...while the vet gave him the injection. It's a VERY quick death...and supposedly not uncomfortable at all. I don't think I could shoot a gun...let alone shoot a pet of mine I'll pray that whatever happens happens for the right reason.
Barbara....sorry to hear that the real estate offer was a low one....I'm hoping that something better is around the corner...you certainly DO need some good luck! I keep looking for another angel like I got for Lori (which seems to be helping her out) -- so far....no luck...but I'll keep on looking! Erin has one more exam tomorrow...but she did say that the one she was worrying about SO much wasn't as bad as she thought it would be...I just know that she's ready for me to pick her up tomorrow. It will be nice to have her home again.
Susan...didn't know Mark went in for surgery...hope he's doing well...and sure sounds like things are going well for you -- you deserve that and so much more!
Scott.....hopefully work isn't too bad for you -- isn't always ironic that during the nicest weather...we get the busiest!! YIKES!!

I know! Was a bit surprised too. Mark wanted to try it (even though surgery is Tuesday) ... and he was able to although we didn't as much and we had so much fun! I think he's paying for it today though, he's pretty sore.
Also keeping Sam in my prayers...it's never easy when a pet you love starts failing
