Hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend whether they celebrated Easter or not.
Today it's raining and more of this stuff through out the rest of the week too.

Great day today out tooling around ... Mark has injured himself and most likely will have to have surgery, but we are having **our time** ... had our own date night last night which didn't include dancing because he's hurt his knee ... I had so much fun : )

Funny thing is, my girlfriend just got divorced after 38 years of marriage!!!! Mostly over little things unsaid that become big things!!
But really- this was my fault.... expectations (again!!!!). I thought he would be excited over the tickets. I think part of it was that he didn't expect me to get him anything.... well he should know better! I am a gifter!!
Anyhow, today is a new day and things are much better.
Today's big adventure- the bath! I'm sure I can get in- but I'm positive I won't be able to get out without help. So I'm depending on Ralph.... he's already making jokes.....

Jann, it'll all work out and I'm sure he's very pleased with his gift ... you two are still very new in your relationship ... and you're a great communicator
Becoming increasingly frustrated with my divorce process ... still at a standstill ... they had to ship the papers BACK here to send them back through the courts to now send them BACK to Ohio where he is to trying to get him served again ... I believe they are still hung up in court doing so,
HURRY up and WAIT ... ; /
ugh ...

Just got back from getting my car rental...my car is in the shop...remember...the Ladder on the Freeway!!!!!!!
So...wanted a small SUV...cuz that's what I drive...they gave me a Tahoe...Surburban...Damn that thing is BIG!!!!!
So back to work...
Glad Easter is over...so much to do in so little time! But was fun!!!!
The baby's not walking yet...so no Easter egg hunt...we just put the eggs on his highchair tray! LOL He loved them all the same!
Slow here again today...hope it gets busy during the week!

In a much better frame of mind today.... haven't had a percodet in 36 hours- yay!!! They do kill the pain, but man they mess with my body! Doing the extra strength tylemol when I need it....
I get these real sharp "twangs" where they cut the bone. It's an OUCH with capitol letters,,,,, but it means it's healing..... or so I like to think!!!
Tried walking with just the "boot" this morning. Not too bad. Think I'll put the crutches away! At least for walking around the house!
Slept way better without the drugs last night. I don't know how anyone could get addicted to those things.
Enjoying coffee this morning.
:-D
Not much going on today.Tomorrow it's in to Reno for a foot check.

Jann, I'm glad you are recovering and able to not have to take as many meds, they do help, but do mess with you don't they?
I'm an official Texan again as of today ... LOL ... well at least my vehicle is ... it's been back here since August and I just now registered it and tagged it ...  ... was just too distracted and lots of things, anyway, luckily I was still in the system and didn't have to pay the excise tax fee from it being in the Virgin Islands ... which would've been at least $1500 ...   NOW I need to do my Driver's License which expires in July ... OK now that is EVEN worse, I still have an IL driver's license ... SHEESH ... I keep thinking I'm going to have a name change so I can do it all at once ... I really am not THAT bad of a procrastinator... REALLY I'm not.... hahaha!
OMG, we had the dogs groomed today ... Mark has a Chow mix and he has her lion shaved every year, it's the funniest thing, she looks like this big bear before and then she's got this tiny little body after the groomer is done ... I have a picture of her on my FB (before), I'm going to take a pic of her (now) ... AND I had my dogs done too, Molly, who I believe has Yorkie and possibly Maltese in her, has longish hair, she shaved her too, I laughed SO hard, because her ears are still long and she looks like she is going to fly away ... she only weighs 5 lbs anyway ... gonna post her pic too ...
the littlest things make me laugh anymore...

OFFLINE | Good stormy morning all! Well it's 7 a.m. and it looks like 10 p.m. The skies are black,the thunder is booming and the lightning is starting. My Abby is very restless and whiney......she never used to be afraid, but she sure is now. My one grand puppy only barks at the thunder, the other one shakes in his paws. LOL
I hope everyone has a wonderful day!
And Jann, that 'pain twang' God just when I read it, it brought back awful memories, ya just don't know what do to to try and deal with it, I tried relaxation and deep breathing when they happened, but even that doesn't cut it. (ouch bad choice of words). I hope it settles down soon!
Stay dry everyone (Well Susie Q, I'll send some of this rain down to you guys, it's teaming down now.

Doc says the foot is healing very well.... yay!!!!!!!! Told me I had lots of scar tissue which is why the surgery lasted so much longer than he had anticipated....
I think the foot looks gross!!!!
Susan... has David been served???? You need to have some hot young chick flirt with him and then hand it to him.... that's what I did..... men are such a sucker for a hot young babe!
So Obama was born in Honolulu.... why did he choose today to release it? (I have my suspicions) And for the record.... I am not a "birther". I am also NOT an Obama fan. But- why don't people have to release their birth certificates BEFORE they run? I mean, it IS a requirement to be born in America.... oh well..... this isn't a political forum......
