Boy! What a day yesterday was.
We took the boat out on the bay and discovered there was a jazz festival going on in downtown Saint Pete. So we pulled the boat up to the sea wall and sat an listened and watched all the other boats with all the bathing beauties enjoying the sun and seas.
AWESOME!
And then ... the rest of the day ... mmmm ... ever seen "The Hangover"? That was our day and it was so bizzare that I can't even write it here. But it combined a beautiful girl with huge boobs, ice, a fire truck ride, buckets of ice, and ...
You wouldn't believe it if I told you (which I'm not) ...
For once, I'm glad it's Monday. |

OFFLINE | well, it's Monday. I got through the weekend in a fog.... so many phone calls, all a bit surreal.
headed to San Diego in a few days for Danny's funeral. is this really happening? my aunt and uncle, their daughter.... my heart just aches for them. Danny's daughters.... my little brother- closer to Danny than any of us.....
I need to shake this. life goes on.
went shopping yesterday. sure cure for depression. $500 later I did feel better. at least I'm not crying anymore.
He wanted to come live with me..... I knew the altitude would be a death sentence.... but as things turned out he died anyway. should have encouraged him to come up....

Had a really nice run/bike ride last night on the Seawall ... a little over 8 miles ... the weather is turning off just gorgeous here

what a year.... death just seems to surround me.... 3 this week alone!
and yesterday my girlfriend's daughter had most of her lip removed (she has NEVER done nicotine!) for cancer! She's barely 30!!!!
Off to Tonopah today. Tomorrow? Don't know.... if I don't need to sign any more tax papers I will probably head to so Cal....
only place I really want to be is at my cabin. or Texas. I miss my son and grandson! |

Well, I was very careful driving to work this Morning! NO ladders in the road...
Busy day for me...have to get our parts ready for shipment at work...and take the car over to the shop for an estimate...I think I can drive it while they order the parts...doesn't look good but drivable.
So...the Insurance does cover it under Collision and only have to pay my $500 deductible. May have to get a rental car tho...will see...
