Wow ... Happy Saturday Y'all ... and good morning.  

Just got woken up by my pup~in~cakes licking my ear.  I've not slept this long and hard in days.

Brrrrr, I'd turned the heat down and feels like it need to be cranked back up .... 22 out there.

Need to hit the shower ... KU basketball game at 11:00 ... Rock Chalk Jayhawks ... GO KU !

Then waiting for truck to roll in with my beloved oldest and his beauty from Chicago ... they're bringing some stuff in for their stay over the summer ...

SPRING BREAK, YEAH !!! ... love me some March Madness !

Morning! Had a great time with friends last night! My "adopted" son showed up- haven't seen him in ages! He's a good kid, just a year older than my real son.

Ralph made it to the floor and slept the night there.... finally got up a couple of hours ago and went to bed... mumbling, I'm getting old.... ha h ha!

Today I think will just be a kick back day.

My daughter (finally!) got the keys to her house last night. She got a jjob at Burger King.... not the best, but it will hold her over till she can get a good job. I've got a few odds and ends I'm going to give her. Bar stools, a coffee table, a desk I'm going to paint white for my granddaughter. Yay! More **** outta my place!!!

Little by little the cabin is actually coming together!!!!

Good Morning!  Well...it's still Morning for me!  LOL

Just got back from the Flea Market...didn't really buy anything...some socks for my daughter and a coffee mug.

It's a beautiful day here...suppose to get in the low 70's.

Going to Lunch with my daughter and then babysitting...but Michelle just called and the baby is sick...so she may not go now...we'll see.  No Johnny Jump up today!!!!

Good morning on this "rainy" Sunday.

Had to go to work yesterday for their annual business recovery test and since I'm the "newest" employee it was mandatory for me to go.

Found out their off-site is really in a remote place.  Guess it makes sense if God forbid another terrorist attack occurs this place will most likely not be hit.

I had to wake up by 5:30am to be ready to head off to commute by 7am.  

I was wiped out by 12 noon.

Beautiful spot but I sure as hell wouldn't want to live out there.  

I'm a city girl all the way!!

Good Morning all!

Had a trying night last night...my 6 mo old Grandson ended up in ER...has the flu and wouldn't stop throwing up...they kept him for 6 hours and didn't do much...they said he didn't need an IV as he was still peeing and tears were still coming out of his eyes....POOR>>POOR Baby!

So I thought all was good...but it's back to Urgent care at 1:30 this afternoon...still throwing up and has diarrhea too!  I really wish they would keep him and re-hydrate him.

I so hate to see "little ones" so sick.  

Finished my cleaning and just doing so more Laundry...and now off to the grocery store.

Not much planned for today...

This makes me sad to hear this and I am surprised that they didn't give him an IV.

Iris was 9 years old when she went through a similar experience and I too had to rush her to ER about midnight and they immediately put her on IV and kept her there for 7 hours because she was that severely dehydrated.

One of the most terrifying experiences of my life!

Praying the baby is okay today...can't even imagine the helplessness everyone must feel when a baby is sick...

Where did the weekend go?

The baby is doing (alittle) better...living on pedillyte every 2 hours and that's it for now.  Poor thing...When I went to see him yesterday I could tell how sick he was.  

Well, back to Kaiser this morning with my Uncle...Hmmm, they forget to remove his stitches....Sometimes I wonder about Kaiser.  Damn...I hope I never get sick to go in the Hospital...thats who is my Healthcare too!

Well, better get to work...Wish I could go back to bed....

Morning all..  Day off... and it is a Snow day.. no school for my son..so much for "me" time.. and right now..the roads are sooooo bad..Im not going anywhere.. going to spend some time getting the schoolwork caught up.. Worked on it til almost midnight to realize that I did it all wrong... so now I have to do it all over again..
