Good morning...and it's downright CHILLY here.... woke up to -7 degrees -- yes...that's MINUS 7 degrees!!!!  Well I guess I can at least warm up my fingers here.....not sure about how the rest of my body will warm up...and it looks like I missed the Twister game with butter yesterday.... Scott....you need to put out an "alert" to all of us!!!  Tonya...yes....pick me up...we'll pick up Sylvia...and let's FLY out to CA!!!!!!!!  Sylvia...sure hope that they fix your heat....I would be complaining A LOT higher than you have...you're way more patient than I am!!!!   Hope everyone has a wonderful week ahead!!!!

Good Monday Morning!
Busy day yesterday, just alot of running around and had to pick up my car....new tires and new brakes...there goes the charge card AGAIN!

Not much going on this week...hopefully No doctor appointments this week...but you never know!  LOL

So it's just a boring week of work!

Good Morning everyone!

I have an itch I can't scratch!!! I am so ready to hit the road! And I want to go to NY.... I don't care how freakin cold it is!

Oh well, hoping I can at least get to Texas next month to see my son and grandson! (Ethan turns 4 on Valentine's Day!)

We were going to go fishing today, but Ralph's knee is bothering him, so we'll stay home and he'll get cozy with the ice pack. (He's falling apart before my eyess.

I'm having a bit of a problem feeling "old". 30 didn't bother me, 50 didn't bother me, 55 didn't bother me...... but I just realized I'm going to be 57. 57!!!!  WTF!!!!! That is sounding old....................

Good morning on this snowy Tuesday.

Yep, we're dealing with flurries right now and over the next couple of days will be a snow / sleet mix.

Oh joy the fun just never stops....

I'm here later than usual because I'm taking one of my cats in to the vet.  He's got tapeworms which totally gross me out!  Ugh!!

Never dealt with that issue in my whole life and am perplexed why Yope continues to have this issue.  He's only 1 1/2 years old and has had to be treated 4x already.  He's an indoor cat so it's not like he's out and about mixing with other cats.

I have an older cat Toby and I've been checking him and haven't seen any signs of tapeworms so will ask the vet this morning if Toby has to be treated as well.

This **** gets expensive!

Then I have to hustle to work after the appt so half of my work day will be gone which also means loss of pay for those hours I'm not in.

Okay, I think I've bitched enough.  lol

I hope everyone has a good day today!

Hi Mary,

I have a few minutes before I call a cab but wanted to say I'm going to take my chances and order from 1 800 PetMeds some tapeworm pills and just store them for Toby.

This vet charges $39 for the tapeworm injection plus $37 office visit and let's not forget I'm paying for cab service round trip.

I can't afford to do this for Toby if the vet insists I need to bring Toby in.

And believe me I got on Iris' case last night.

Called her and thanked her for leaving me with these 2 cats and the expense of taking care of them.

Needless to say it was not a pleasant conversation.

Anyway you have a good day too!

Snowing right now and I'm praying it stops already before I head out.  

I really wished my boss had just let me have the day off as I requested.  They're not doing me any favors by having me come in late and losing pay when I already have personal days and vacation time I can start using.

ugh....

Well, I went and bought some U-bake Pizza's last night...went home, turned the oven on...and Poof!  NO HEAT!!!!!!
My oven went out...So...Bob said, let's put them on the BBQ!  I said...that won't work...but it did...see...

Not much going on today...just work!

Happy Birthday to Jordan today!  And I bet your getting excited about Laurens baby...right Susan?

EWWWWW...to Sylvia...icky...icky!  I hope you get that taken care of for your cat!

What a day we had!!! We decided to take old truck to the lake... it hasn't been run in awhile.... so we hook up the trailer and boat to old truck and cruise on up to the lake. A few miles out of town (after we Pass Mr. Highway Patrol on the side of the road) Ralph says, she's smoling pretty bad.... let's go back and get your truck. OKey Dokey. So we turn around (and drive past Mr. Highway Patrol again). Well goodness gracious, she quits smoking! So we turn around and (yup, we go by Mr Highway Patrol again!). This time Mr. Highway Patrol must think we're up to something fishy (no pun intended) so he pulls us over. No ticket. Everything was in order. Thank God!

So we go on our merry way. Buy our fishing permits for us and the boat (Pyramid is on the reservation, so you have to have tribal permits). Get ready to put the boat in the water and lordy, lordy! The wheel on the trailer is about to fall off! The little hub thing was missing. And the wheel was going wobble, wobble!

Ralph says, we're here, screw it! We're going fishing, we'll deal with it later!!! Well okey dokey Ralphie!!

So we get our little Basscatcher in the water. She goes in nice and easy. Try to start her engine. Nada. Hmmmm. No problemo. We got another battery! Unfortunately, it's just as dead!!! Well, okay..... we'll get her started manually. Ummmm.... no......

So, we call the towing company.... they got there in about an hour and only charged us $300 to tow the boat back to town!!!! I have no idea how much it'll cost to fix the trailer... but..... the boat is OK! And Ralph just left to buy a new battery.............

So permits, towing, trailer repair.... $$$$$$$$$ Being home safe and sound with my hubby and NOT in an accident........... priceless!!!
