OFFLINE
Early morning, at Philadelphia Int'l airport. My stomach rumbles and I realise I need to eat something substantial for the long journey ahead. Eggs are one of my favourite things to eat for breakfast. There is something so deliciously comforting about them, a little bit of butter with some salt and pepper, maybe some fresh tomato and coriander when I want that bit extra....toast on the side. Eggs are a global staple for simple, nutritious living.

I search out a place that is open this early and quickly find a pretty decent restaurant serving hot food and freshly brewed coffee. As I sit down at the table it hits me that I'm in an airport and there isn't a chance they will serve organic, pasture raised chicken eggs. I realise that they will no doubt source their produce from a factory farm, for cost effectiveness, for all the reasons why we demand that cheap, fast and easy lifestyle. Regardless of the factory farm conditions I know the chickens will have been fed GMO feed. And in the GMO feed is this new entity. A new entity that wreaks havoc with our body's system. A new entity that has given rise to infertility and miscarriage in HUMANS, a THIRTY percent rise, as well as LIVESTOCK. It has been traced back to the amniotic fluid, the fetus, the milk, eggs, feed, manure, crop and soil. It has found its way into everything.

I feel angry and scared. Angry that I don't have a choice and angry that millions of people are unaware of this deadly pathogen in their food and can't make a choice either. I'm scared because I feel this is so HUGE and I don't know what to do about it. How will this information rightly reach every single human being on this planet? It seems like an impossible task but I know, somewhere inside, that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE. So here I am, writing it on this facebook page. Will you stand with me? Stand up against the biotech firms who are monopolizing nature and controlling our food supply. For the sake of our children and future generations? In the words of one of The Agtivists, Don "The Scientist" Huber: "...pretty soon, we won't have a society."

The cappuccino I hastily ordered when I sat down arrives and I stare despairingly into the frothy liquid - I remember the entity is in the milk too and was the main cause of not a single live birth for FIVE years in a small town in Iowa....I push it to one side, unashamed that I've not taken a single sip.
