I don't really powerlift however I do some deadlifts and I would like to progress in those over the course of the next year

stats:
age 33+
bwt: 66 kg
deadlift PR: 155 kg with straps, probably 145 kg atm with straps

program: I intend to do deadlifts, lots of them, usually 1-3 reps/set not really straining most of the time.

goal: deadlift 3x my morning bodyweight by June 2012 e.g. 64 kg, 192 kg deadlift (with straps of course)

I compete in the Subang Jaya Straps Weightlifting League, that is why I use straps, no further explanation needed.

So you're only doing DLs and nothing else?

I've lived in Subang Jaya for the longest time ever, and I've not heard of the SJ Straps Weightlifting League until now. Where does the competition takes place at? When's the next competition date?

I do snatch, clean and jerk, and deadlifts. I would do squats, but I can't. No racks, and smith machine just doesn't excite me. I don't do anything else except swim at home or sometimes use a universal machine. I'd do bench press, but there is smith machine only, so I don't do it.

I am the only competitor in the Subang Jaya weightlifting league so far, so competitions occur at my whim. No really, at the gym I have to lower the weights carefully from overhead, doing that regularly without chalk or straps would really limit what I can do especially when hands rip up. I should be doing some supplementary training for grip.
