I think the rule of thumb here should be that you can do whatever you want with your own body unless the end result is something that someone else (like cops, paramedics, fire service etc) has to clean up after you're done.....

I think the point of contention is that it isn't just the woman's body, but also that of the child. Some people try to avoid it, but so far as I can see this argument can only really be framed as a conflict between the fetus's right to life and the woman's right to anatomy. |
