I am so happy! MySpaz poetry does not do so well with the challenges. But I will post.
My very first poem:

Maddened…

I take a drink of my vodka and lime
Listening to a music box chime
I look at the blank screen pondering the time

When had that clock become so unkind?
The day had slipped to the night
Grumbling a curse as I glare at the light
I want to hide from the daylight’s sight.

The music box slowed its joyful tune
Only then to remember my gloom
Each day brings me closer to my tomb
A madness that will take me soon

It is not night or day I fear
That is the truth, my dear
The day ahead will be all clear
It is this ache I keep near

It is each day or night I breathe
I live without peace or humanity
This World has nothing to offer me
So it is alone in the Dark when I am free

Oh I forgot - I had two for that challenge. *sigh* here is the other.
A Death

A Cry in the middle of the Night
a Shot, a Scream, a Shout

Nervous hands covered in Blood
a Moan, a Murmur, a Prayer

Lights Bright of Red and Blue
Flashing, Turning, Flickering

Anxious Waiting for it to Stop
Churning, Twisting, Crying

Irresolute, Dissolve, Surrender
There is no rest or peace

Hopeless, Flawed, Truth
Sanity is Dead

O morning
you are here again
patient as a featherless bird
hidden helpless in a nest
damp and ready
for what the world
will contribute as offering
to your bounty.

seared spam, sun dried tomatoes and mac and cheese - my favorite meal as a child - yum yum!

& yes I did just admit that... perhaps I should make a dedication to Spam and Mac?

~Ahhhh here it is

Mac and Cheese
If you please
better yet
make it stick
add a little spam
a something of ham
add some 'maters
makes it better
Try some
it will be fun
eat it love it
It won't make you sick.

~HAHA I know I am SO bad with poems!

Slightly bent,
she rolled like a Vega
behind the West Harvest Inn

There are bears there,
scuffling for leftovers
she shrugged, not expecting to win

I like this poem and I have no idea why, LOL

the Bathtub (poetry challenge, bathtub)

in the
middle of a field
in porcelain and white
arms and legs dangle
over the red stained sides

and crows flap
wildly, almost laughing
it seems
at scarecrows
and dead grey eyes

here angels weep on bended knee
singing songs of sorrow
for the crop
a killer does reap

Over Yonder

He called
to me
from
over yonder
but I
was listening
from
another way

a tanka i once wrote that i liked...

He summons the blood
of sweet creation ease'ly
pulling it toward him
like the moon, always tugging
my thoughts, my eyes, I cant fight.

This is one of my favourite poem written by Nils Ferlin.

Du har tappat ditt ord och din papperslapp
Du barfota barn i livet
Nu sitter du ensam på handlarens trapp
och gråter så övergivet

Vad var det för ord?
Var det långt eller kort?
Var det väl eller illa skrivet?

Tänkt efter nu noga förrän vi föser dig bort
Du barfota barn, i livet...

A quick translation...

This is one of my favorite poem Written By Nils Ferlin.

You will get your words and your piece of paper
You barefooted child of life
Now you sit alone on the merchant's staircase
and cry so desolate

What's that word?
Was it long or short?
Was it well or badly written?

Think carefully now, until we shove you away
You barefoot children, in life ...

Tender and throbbing
so raw
his lines of energy
trace across my thoughts
lighting my mind
rushing with my blood
through my beating heart
collecting oxygen,
every faint vein
shining with love
oozing from eyes
and fingertips
bleeding from lips and tongues
lifting me off the ground
until reality hits,
and im on the floor.
A crumpled, tangled, bitten
mess of a not princess

Its just a matter of time...
