OFFLINE | Okay, I know about the MLA style, my qustion is silly and different: Which text are regarded as articles from a book (or just articles) and which are books? I mean, is "creen memories" a book? The part that we've read is short but it can be part of something. Because i'm writing stuff like "in his ***, Freud talks about..." i think she'll take points off if I'll write "article" or instead of "book" and stuff... |

OFFLINE | A short google search brings up a lot of mentions for Screen Memories being a "paper" by Freud (an essay? A text? An article?). Is there an actual book called "Screen Memories"?
I would like to believe we will not lose points for such trivial matters, but after my experience with dearest Hedda Ben Bassat, I don't put it past anyone in the English department to be a petty little ****... so better be safe than sorry. I pretty much called all of the texts "essays" except for Chatman's, his is a whole book from which we read chapters. |

OFFLINE | Thanks, how come I didn't think of that??? and I wanted to be sure, because an essey is in "quotes" and a book should be either italicezed or underlined... Oh, and do we need to put our last name as a header? |

OFFLINE | I've been wondering if we need to put our name in at all. This is still an exam, so logically speaking our name shouldn't be on it at all. Anyone knows?
EDIT: I e-mailed Danielle asking about the name thing. Will let you know. |

 OFFLINE | Danielle's answer:
the exam has to have your name on it. and ID - on a separate page from your answers.
So name + ID on cover page, but not in the head of the answers pages. |
