Although there is a Corporate Policy for Walmart, they allow the individual store managers to adapt the policy as they see fit. In essence, it is entirely up to the Store Manager to set his/her own policies. It is always a good idea to have a copy of the corporate policy in your binder for reference. AND, I might add, it is always a good idea to be on good terms with the store manager, if you have a question he/she will be the best person to talk to.
