For some time, people would call themselves snipers even though their paintballs could travel the same distance as most other players making them more of ambushers than Snipers.  With the release of FS rounds which are paintball versions of the FN303 rounds the paintball "sniper" finally came to be as very few people use them due to extreme cost and they can shoot about double the range of a standard paintball (with proper barrel elevation) and excellent accuracy even at the long distances.
